The Cervone is a snake that wanders on the slopes of Mount Somma, between Somma Vesuviana and Terzigno. A noble snake with growths on its head that resemble horns when it sheds its skin. Straw yellow in colour, the aromas and taste of this IGT from Monte Somma are strongly influenced by the Vesuvian agricultural territory. On the nose there are hints of apricot, locally called “pellecchiella”, sip, cantaloupe, pineapple, broom and chamomile ultimately leave room for a strong typical almond note. On the palate a marked mineral vein reflects its volcanic origin.
